Amardeep Singh

Director, Producer

Amardeep Singh, a resident of Singapore, was educated at The Doon School (Dehradun, India) and Manipal Institute of Technology (India), and pursued a Master of Business Administration at the University of Chicago (USA). Before becoming an Independent Visual Ethnographic Researcher, Amardeep worked in the Financial Services sector for 25 years and served as Head of Revenue Management for the Asia Pacific Region at American Express. He is the Producer & Director of the award-winning 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak, titled ‘ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels’ and has authored two books, ‘Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ and ‘The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’. He is currently leading the ‘Oneness in Diversity’ project, entailing the creation of audio-visual educational content based on life and metaphoric messages of Guru Nanak and the 15 Bhagats. He is also leading the development of educational content for the 'Learn With Nanak' project.

Vininder Kaur

Director, Script Writer, Music Coordinator

Vininder Kaur, a resident of Singapore, was educated at the Convent of Jesus and Mary (Dehradun, India). She pursued a degree in fashion design and taught at ONGC College of Vocational Studies. She also worked as a fashion designer in an international buying house in India. She is the Director, Script Writer & Music Coordinator of the award-winning 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak, titled ‘ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels’. She is also the editor of two books, ‘Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ and ‘The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’. Satninder Singh Bodal

Vocalist

Satninder Singh Bodal lives in Bodal, Punjab, India. He attained classical musical training under (Late) Ustad B.S. Narang of the Shamchurasi Gharana. He is a leading exponent of Hindustani Classical Vocalist and all the Raags of the Guru Granth Sahib. He is an A Grade Artist of All India Radio in Indian Classical Vocal. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards like, Ustad Shouqat Ali Award 2023 by PGCM Trust, Yuva Sangeet Rattan 2014 in Kurukshetra, 2014 CMSB National Award, Sangeet Ratan Samman 2016 by Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Sammelan Delhi. Satninder has performed worldwide music orums.

Datti Kaur

Visual Artist

Datti Kaur, a resident of Singapore, was educated at the United World College of South East Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a B.Ed teacher’s degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a Master's Degree from The Prince's Foundation, School of Traditional Arts, London. Datti's artworks are inspired by the Indic philosophies and imagery, re-contextualizing events from the past through a contemporary perspective. Her works have been showcased in several exhibitions across Canada, the USA, and India.

Mahabeer Singh

Rabab

Mahabeer Singh received his education in Rabab and vocals from Ustad Inderjeet Singh Bindhu Ji at Jawaddi Takshal, Ludhiana, India. He has performed worldwide and released many tracks. His Rabab recital was recorded for Virasat-E-Khalsa Museum at Anandpur Sahib and Art Gallery Museum, Amritsar, India.

Sukhdev Singh

Tabla

Sukhdev Singh is a disciple of Ustad Zafar Hussain of Punjab Gharana. He has performed in classical concert in India, Canada and Malaysia. He has also played the Tabla for the 24-episode docuseries “ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels”.

He has expertise working on various genres, such as feature films, documentaries, music videos, and advertisements. His work has garnered international recognition by winning numerous awards at film festivals across the globe.

Shubham Sahota

Sound Engineer

Shubham Sahota is a sound engineer based in Dehradun, India. He is also a well-versed Singer, Recordist, Composer, and Music Programmer. He started his journey in music at age 5 and is currently learning from Shri Utpal Samant Ji. He holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering and a B.A. Honours (Vocal Music) from Kheragarh University.
